This work was first performed in October 1995, in Poole, Dorset, by Wilhelmenia Fernandez; the Choristers of St. George's Chapel, Windsor; and the Bournemouth Symphony Chorus, conducted by Neville Creed. This concert, filmed byBBC Television, celebrated the launch of the premiere recording of <i>African Sanctus</i> with &ldquo;Dona Nobis Pacem&rdquo;.
