"Feliz Navidad" simply means "Merry Christmas". José Feliciano composed a Christmas song with this title in 1970, and it is still one of the best-known modern Christmas songs today. It is a lively, Latin American piece, full of infectious Christmas cheer. Heinz Briegel has preserved this joyful and exuberant character of the music in his arrangement for wind orchestra.
